Ironbridge Appoints Andrew Walton as President

(Toronto – September 25, 2025) – Ironbridge Equity Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Walton to the role of President where he will succeed Alan Sellery in leading the day-to-day activities of the firm. Alan will continue to work full-time in the business as the Executive Chair. The balance of the Partner group will continue in their roles and remain committed to the next chapter of the firm’s development.

Andrew joined Ironbridge in 2014 and has over 30 years of experience and success in private equity investing, portfolio company leadership as a CEO and CFO, and corporate advisory. Andrew is a Chartered Accountant (SAICA), holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Accounting Honours from the University of Cape Town, and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.

Alan founded Ironbridge in 2005 with the intention of creating a multi-generational firm. Over the ensuing two decades, the firm has actively recruited and developed its professional team with the goal of creating the next generation of leaders. The 20th anniversary of Ironbridge’s founding was chosen to announce this next step in the firm’s evolution.
